path to homeownership

We guide you step-by-step—from your first conversation to moving into your home.

Homeownership, made clear

Buying a home can feel complicated—especially if it’s your first time.

At LEVEL, we simplify the process and guide you through every step. From financial readiness to finding the right home, you’ll have support during your journey.

1. Start Your Journey

Complete a simple homeowner readiness assessment to help us understand where you are in the process.

2. Meet Your LEVEL Guide

Sit down with a LEVEL Guide to review your goals, finances, and next steps. This is where your path becomes personal.

3. Homebuyer Education

Complete homebuyer education through our partner, NeighborWorks WPa. This helps you understand budgeting, maintenance, and long-term ownership success.

4. Get Mortgage ready

Meet with lenders and explore mortgage options.
We help you understand what you qualify for and what comes next.

5. Pre-Qualification

Get pre-qualified so you’re ready when the right home becomes available.

6. Choose your home

Explore available LEVEL homes and find one that fits your needs and budget.

7. Sign & Close

Once you’re ready, you’ll sign your agreement and move toward closing.

8. Move In

Welcome home. You’re not just moving in—you’re becoming part of a community of homeowners.

What to know

LEVEL homes are designed to remain affordable for local residents.

To support that goal, there are a few basic guidelines:

  • Household income must be at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  • Homes are sold below market value to reflect community investment goals
  • Some assistance programs may be available for qualified buyers

These guidelines help ensure homes stay accessible for future homeowners in the community.

You’re not doing this alone

Throughout the LEVEL Path, you’ll have access to:

  • A dedicated LEVEL Guide
  • Homebuyer education resources
  • Mortgage lending partners
  • Post-purchase support

Our goal isn’t just to help you buy a home—it’s to help you succeed in it.
