The typical homeowner has nearly 40x more wealth than the typical renter. It is estimated that for every $1 spent on reducing childhood poverty, the country would save at least $7 with respect to the economic costs of poverty.

Our work begins with LEVEL being invited into neighborhoods to work alongside regional leaders and partners to set a new vision for the community. Then, we work at the intersection of Asset-Based Community Development principles and real estate market-based realities to identify housing stock to renovate.
Home sales boost local economies through a ripple effect that supports local jobs, small businesses, and families. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reports that buying an existing home adds more than $60,000 to the local economy.
Communities
LEVEL is the long-term solution to housing inequity. Our model facilitates dignified, affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking residents who want to put down roots in their communities.
Working with the Borough, LEVEL received the first ever scattered site grant for affordable housing projects. Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP of $1M) DCED. Additional grant funds of $1.3M came from ACED.
